14th September 2017
Tavern Room, The RSA, RSA House, 8 John Adam Street, London, WC2N 6EZ
9:30 am - 12:30 pm
10 Years After the Crash events are promoting learning from the 2007 financial crash to develop a wider understanding of what is needed to deliver a fairer, more resilient and sustainable economic system.
The event recognises that no single element of society has a monopoly on ideas about either the journey or the end-game. It will consider questions such as:
- what transformations are necessary to make our financial system fit for the future?
- what changes are possible?
We will explore those transformations and the short, medium and longer-term realities involved in creating them.
Who will be welcome?
We're inviting anyone with new ideas and a passion for a better future to contribute. Places are limited and will be confirmed nearer the event.
Who will be there?
The event will include input and facilitation from Terrafiniti, Relationship Capital Strategies.
The event will also feature Darryl Murphy – Head of Infrastructure Debt, Aviva Investors; Kate Raworth of Doughnut Economics fame; Lois Guthrie, Executive Director of CDSB and Michael Mainelli; Executive Chairman of Z/Yen and Founder of Long Finance, in addition to others to be confirmed.
What's the format?
The event will combine exploration and discussion. You'll be encouraged to actively contribute - but it's also OK to sit and listen.
