We want to increase our impact and help more clients go further and deliver the change they need to build resilience and business value and deliver the trust and performance that they and their stakeholders' demand.
We have a tremendous track record in sustainability thought leadership but also in delivering practical, actionable strategies and plans.
But we could be much stronger at communicating these ideas to the people who will effect change. We need to reach out further and better, to develop more connections and deeper relationships - and have a greater number of meaningful conversations.
Achieving that needs better marketing intelligence and application. More organisation, consistency and targeting of activity. Our marketing and business development needs enhancing to help grow our sustainability impact.
We’re looking for someone who can build upon what we’re good at and build a powerful engine for outreach and development.
Your contribution
You will be someone who knows the value of strong and long-term client relationships - and matching the right services and support with clients’ needs. We’re good but not always the right solution for everyone.
You will have your own desire and enthusiasm for driving sustainable change. An independent self-starter, you will be curious and willing to learn. We’re a very small business and will need someone who’s independent, resilient and adaptable.
You probably won’t arrive with all the skills and insights we need. But you’ll be very strong on some and willing to put in the effort to learn others.
You will have a strong track record in marketing with a tight focus on business development and be able to demonstrate results in developing activity that brings in new business.
We’re looking for quality and consistency over quantity. The primary objective of the role is to deliver a small number of high quality, relevant leads each month.
You will build an understanding of our customers, their challenges and visions for change so you can best identify who we can support well, who would benefit most from our cutting-edge services and how best to communicate with them.
Our offer
You can work flexibly, when and where you want - providing you can talk to potential customers, suppliers and partners during their working hours.
This is a UK based role. We’re based near Guildford, being close would be useful.
We anticipate that this will be a part-time role paid pro-rata equivalent to FTE salary in the range of £34,000 - £44,000 per annum. A bonus scheme will be developed subject to discussion.
A pension scheme will be available at the end of a 3 month probation period. You will receive 28 days holiday pro rata, plus bank holidays.
